2.2 How to Book: Sessions are booked through my cal.eu Booking Page. When you book, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including any details relevant to your skin, known allergies or sensitivities, so that I can prepare appropriately for your Session.
2.3 Booking Confirmation: A Session is only confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation from cal.eu. Please check the date, time and format (online or in person) carefully and contact me immediately if anything is incorrect.
3. Services

3.2 In Person Private Makeup Consultation: A 2 hour one to one session at the Venue, including a review of your existing makeup bag, hands on teaching of a natural everyday look, product recommendations, and personal notes provided after the Session.
3.3 Nature of the Service: My Services are educational and advisory in nature. They are not a substitute for professional dermatological, medical or allergy advice. I am not a doctor or dermatologist and nothing said or demonstrated during a Session constitutes medical advice.

4.2 Payment Methods: Payment can be made in full through my Booking Page at the time of booking. Full payment is required to confirm and hold your Session.
4.3 Payment Security: Online payments through my Booking Page are processed securely by cal.eu and its payment provider, Stripe. I do not store your full card details.
4.4 International Clients: If you are booking from outside the UK, prices remain as shown in GBP; your card provider or bank may apply its own currency conversion and any associated fees, which are outside my control.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling and No Shows
5.1 Cancellation by You: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me at least 48 hours’ notice by contacting me at Kirsty@houseofiriana or through my Booking Page. Cancellations made with 48 hours’ notice or more will receive a full refund or may be rescheduled free of charge.
5.2 Late Cancellation and No Shows: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, and any no shows, are non refundable, as I will have reserved that time exclusively for you and, for in person Sessions, incurred Venue costs. I may, at my discretion, offer a one off courtesy rescheduling for genuine emergencies.
5.3 Late Arrival: If you arrive late to a Session, it will still end at the originally scheduled time so as not to affect other clients. The full fee remains payable.
5.4 Cancellation by Me: If I need to cancel or reschedule a Session, for example due to illness or a Venue issue, I will give you as much notice as possible and you will be offered a full refund or an alternative appointment, whichever you prefer.
Full details of cancellations, rescheduling, no shows and refunds are set out in my separate Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. During Your Session
6.1 Health and Allergies: Please tell me about any known skin conditions, allergies or sensitivities before your Session, using the relevant field on my Booking Page. I will do my best to work around these but I cannot guarantee that no reaction will occur and I am not liable for reactions arising from information not disclosed to me in advance.
6.2 Products Used: In Person Sessions are conducted using your own makeup products, which you bring with you. During the Session, I will demonstrate application on part of your face using your own products to show technique, and you will also apply products yourself under my guidance, as part of the teaching process. I may use my own brushes at points during this process. Product recommendations are my professional opinion and you are free to accept or decline them.
6.3 Online Sessions: For online Sessions, you are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and private space for the call. I do not have physical contact with you during an online Session. I am not liable for technical issues outside my control that disrupt a Session, though I will make reasonable efforts to reschedule any significantly disrupted time.
6.4 Hygiene and Product Safety: As Sessions use your own makeup products, please let me know before your Session if any products are old, expired or previously used by someone else. If you are trying a new product for the first time, I recommend patch testing it on a small area of skin at least 24 hours before your Session. I am not liable for any reaction to a product that you supplied and that was not disclosed to me in advance.
6.5 Hygiene and Product Safety: I follow standard hygiene practice, including using clean and sanitised brushes and tools for each client. As Sessions use your own makeup products, please let me know before your Session if any products are old, expired or previously used by someone else. If you are trying a new product for the first time, I recommend patch testing it on a small area of skin at least 24 hours before your Session. I am not liable for any reaction to a product that you supplied and that was not disclosed to me in advance.
6.6 Venue Rules: In person Sessions take place at the Venue. You agree to follow any reasonable instructions I give you regarding the Venue and any rules of the Venue itself during your visit.
7. Photography, Privacy and Confidentiality
7.1 No Photography Without Consent: I will not take, use or share any photographs, video or testimonials featuring you without your specific, separate consent. I do not require you to be photographed as a condition of any Service.
7.2 Confidentiality: Anything you share with me about your skin, health or personal circumstances during a Session is treated as confidential and is not shared with anyone else, except where I am required to do so by law.
7.3 Your Data: Your personal data is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
Any teaching materials, notes, guides or techniques I provide during or after a Session are for your personal use only. You may not record, reproduce, resell or redistribute these materials or use them to teach or advise others commercially, without my prior written permission.
9. Insurance
For in person Sessions at the Venue, I hold public liability insurance and/or treatment liability / professional indemnity insurance. The cover arranged by the Venue for its own premises does not replace my own professional cover for the advice, demonstration and hands on teaching I provide. Online Sessions involve no physical contact or shared premises.
Details of my current policy are available on request.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of my Services, including any loss arising from your own use of products or techniques after a Session has ended. Nothing in these Terms limits my liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by my negligence or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at my discretion, for example where I have concerns about suitability, safety or availability. Where I decline a booking, you will receive a full refund of any amount already paid.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with a Session, please contact me at Kirsty@houseofiriana within 14 days so that I can understand and try to resolve the issue.
13. International Clients
International Clients I welcome clients booking online Sessions from outside the UK. These Terms, and any contract between us, are governed by the laws of Scotland as set out in clause 14, regardless of where you are based. Depending on where you live, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections under your own local law that cannot be excluded by this clause.
14. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on my Booking Page or on request. Continuing to book Sessions after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or overseas, you also benefit from any mandatory protective provisions of the law of your country of residence.
