Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how I, Kirsty Lloyd trading as House Of Iriana, use cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read alongside my Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how I collect, use and protect your personal data.

By continuing to use my website, and by acknowledging my cookie notice, you agree to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. Cookies may be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

2. How I Use Cookies

My website uses cookies for the following purposes:

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for my website to function properly, for example enabling secure browsing, remembering that you have seen the cookie notice, and supporting core booking functionality. These cookies do not require your consent as they are necessary to provide the website and services you request. My lawful basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

2.2 Third Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third party services embedded in my website, including:

cal.com: my booking and scheduling platform, which may use cookies to enable and support the booking process.

Stripe: my payment processor, which may use cookies for fraud prevention and to process payments securely, including where paying by Apple Pay.

Google Meet / Google Calendar: used to deliver and manage online consultations, which may set cookies as part of their own services.

These providers may set their own cookies in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies:

Stripe: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy
Google: policies.google.com/privacy
Apple: https://www.apple.com/uk/legal/privacy/

I do not use cookies for advertising, analytics or third party marketing purposes, and I do not use any cookies beyond those needed to operate my website and booking system.

3. Cookie Consent

Cookie Notice My website displays a simple cookie notice, managed through the Blocksy Companion theme’s built in cookie bar. Because this website only uses the strictly necessary and service related cookies described above and does not use any analytics, advertising or marketing cookies, the notice serves to inform you that cookies are in use and clicking “OK” acknowledges this notice. If I add any cookies in future that are not strictly necessary for the site or booking system to function, I will update this notice and my consent mechanism accordingly to allow you to accept or decline them separately.

4. How to Manage or Disable Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your own browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: See what cookies are stored on your device and delete them individually Block third party cookies Block cookies from particular sites Block all cookies from being set Delete all cookies when you close your browser

Please note that if you choose to block or delete cookies, some parts of my website, including the booking system, may not function correctly.

Guidance on managing cookies in common browsers is available at: www.aboutcookies.org www.allaboutcookies.org

5. Changes to This Policy

I review this Cookie Policy periodically and will post any updates on this page with a revised effective date. I recommend checking this page occasionally to stay informed.
